Hugin is open-source freeware with high-quality results, but making a panorama takes time. There are a lot of knobs to twist. Once I learned how to use the tool, these took 30-60 minutes each.

Viewing them takes some effort too. Start by maximizing your browser window, then click the picture. Sensible browsers bring up a full-window version fitted to a separate window (IPad users note, however: the pathetic crippled Safari browser may require scrolling for the widest of these). Further clicking that full-window image gives you a 100% image to scroll through.
